Video conference composition system
The videoconferencing system consists of terminal equipment, digital communication network, network node switching equipment, MCU and so on.
Video conference camera terminal equipment: including video acquisition front-end (broadcast camera or pan-tilt integrated machine), display, decoder, encoder and decoder, image processing equipment, control switching equipment. Terminal equipment mainly completes the transmission and reception of videoconferencing signals.
Transmission equipment: mainly using cable, optical cable, satellite, digital microwave and other long-distance digital channels, according to the needs of the provisional composition of video conferencing. These channels are the channels of long distance telecommunications without opening teleconference.
Node switching equipment: it is an indispensable equipment for the opening of TV conference.
Video conference solution a switching device on the network node. Three or more video conferencing terminals must use one or more of these node switching devices (MCUs). Video, audio and control signals emitted by the terminal should be converted to the same mode in the node switching equipment to realize communication. Node switching devices have the functions of model switching, video switching and rate conversion. The size of the node switching equipment determines the size of the videoconference.
The videoconferencing business is developing at an annual rate of doubling. Since 80s, China has opened international TV conferences, and the domestic conference television business has gradually entered into business. More recently, many hardware and software video conferencing manufacturers are emerging in the market.
