HD-SDI HD prices are high

But in consideration of transmission bandwidth pressure, video compression processing pressure, hard disk occupation, low illumination, big data processing stability, backend host and supporting factors, in the current situation, users are pursuing clearer plans when applying SDI HD security systems. A reasonable trade-off choice needs to be made between the picture quality, the wider monitoring range, and the final purchase cost. At present, the overall price of SDI is still high, and the promotion period is not long. In the eyes of many engineering companies, HD-SDI is synonymous with high prices. SDI prices have a long way to go for the people.
HD-SDI HD transmission "no pressure", "not far"
In general, the SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI resolutions correspond to 720P@25/30fps, 1080P@25/30fps, and 1080P@50/60fps, respectively. Despite this, HD-SDI digital surveillance still has unique advantages. Compared with IP network monitoring, HD-SDI monitoring has the following advantages: 1. The original analog system wiring can still be used, the system composition and equipment management methods remain unchanged, and the upgrade from the old analog system requires only the replacement of the corresponding hardware equipment. Without the need for training, it can smoothly upgrade from standard definition analog monitoring to high-definition monitoring. 2. The original image is not distorted. Unlike IP surveillance, which is transmitted through the network after being compressed and packaged, HD-SDI monitoring transmits the uncompressed digital signal at high speed on the coaxial cable without distortion. 3, high-definition real-time, not affected by the transmission network, there will be no image delay caused by IP network monitoring, in the occasion of real-time monitoring requirements, the performance requirements are particularly important. 4. Provide more details, maintain the integrity and originality of the image, greatly improve the accuracy of the intelligent analysis algorithm, and provide protection for intelligent video analysis IVS. At present, the application of HD-SDI high-definition monitoring is mainly based on the local small-scale area and the field with high requirements for picture images.
