How to develop video conferencing

In the future, the use of video conferencing systems will further penetrate into all walks of life. At present, the proportion of users using video conferencing in China's government has reached about 30%, and the proportion of use of key industries such as finance, energy, communications, transportation, medical care, and education has also increased, but there is still huge room for development. The government video conferencing network will cover the townships, and the financial, telecommunications, energy and other industries will also begin to manage the finer market, which will greatly promote the rapid development of the video conferencing system market.

Like the Chinese security industry, the video communication industry has completely entered the high-definition application requirements and enterprise high-definition technology competition in recent years. In particular, the market size of the video conferencing market has expanded year by year in the past five years. In 2009, the market size of the industry reached 5.17 billion yuan, an increase of 22.22% over the 4.23 billion yuan in 2008;

Market generates HD demand

In recent years, the video conferencing system has become one of the important criteria for measuring whether the information construction of many units is up to standard. However, in the units that have actually applied video conferencing, we often hear complaints that the application effect is different from the expected one. We cannot help but ask, What hinders the development of video conferencing? It may be that many people who have used traditional conference equipment have such an experience. During the meeting, the images of the participants are not clear enough, and even a long delay occurs. One expression of the speaker can be displayed after a few seconds. The emergence of these problems will undoubtedly reduce the effectiveness of video conferencing and the efficiency of the meeting, and even make users feel bored with the recurrence of such problems. Some surveys show that clarity, delay, bandwidth, stability, high prices and operators' promotion models are all important factors hindering the development of the video conferencing industry. The most powerful issue is the clarity of the video.

Chinese video conferencing technology has been evolving. Before HD encoding/decoding technology was produced,Video conferencing data is encoded based on the Common Interchange Format (CIF). The International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication Standards Department has developed video standards called H.261 and H.263. The H.261 standard only defines the QCIF and CIF formats. The quarter CIF (QCIF) format is only used for conferences with the lowest data rates (64 kbit/s and lower) and is currently rarely used. Since the release of the H.263 standard, more "full resolution" formats (4CIF and 16CIF) have been adopted. Due to the limitations of computing and bandwidth when using such standards, the common resolution for full-motion video conferencing is still CIF to 4CIF. HD video conferencing requires all terminals to be HD compatible, so that all participants in the video conferencing can enjoy HD video. All terminals must support high-definition data compression. In addition, network broadband is an indispensable factor for high-quality video conferencing. High-definition interactive video conferencing requires a minimum data transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s.
