Some point for business video conferencing
Since the video conference quietly entered mainland China around 2000, it has helped us a lot in our work and business management. The conference camera was born. Now everyone should be familiar with the conference camera.
It may be that some applications not understand. So today, let's talk about the aspect of the PTZ control of the conference camera.
Conference cameras usually have a pan/tilt. There are two ways to control them. One is controlled by a remote control, and the other is controlled by connecting a control line. Mainly based on these two points to make a explanation.
First: remotely control the camera through the remote control
The remote control standard of the general conference camera is IR remote control. It can be remotely controlled by the factory. We can control the conference camera up and down, left and right, zoom in and out, and call the preset position through the remote control. Via remote control
Control is relatively simple.
Second: control the camera through the control line
A general conference camera will have a 232 interface or a 485 control interface, or one of them, and the two will be complementary without conflict. Taking 232 as an example, 232 is the serial port control interface, that is, the serial port control line will be connected to the computer by the camera.
If it is a desktop computer, there is a serial port interface that can be plugged directly. If it is a notebook, you need to purchase a USB to 232 adapter to convert to USB. Conference cameras generally default to the VISCA protocol, which directly calls the VISCA protocol in the video conferencing software.
That's it. The 485 control interface is the same setup method.
