Polycom video conferencing users occupy Forbes list
According to the survey, among the top 500 companies in the Forbes Asia region, Polycom video conferencing companies occupy a large part. As the global leader in open communication standards, Polycom has grown more than last year's cooperation with well-known companies in Asia.
August 2013 is the ninth time for Forbes to publish the Top 50 Listed Companies in Asia. The list is analyzed and selected by Forbes for 1,220 companies with a turnover or market value of more than US$3 billion. In 2013, there were 50 companies from 11 regions in Asia, 37 of which were Polycom customers. These customers include well-known Chinese companies such as Baidu, Vanke Group, China Gas, Great Wall Motor and Gree Electric. The latest survey by WainhouseResearch and Polycom also showed the same results. The survey found that more and more companies regard video conferencing system collaboration as an effective tool to improve business productivity, with up to 94% of video users supporting this view.
More and more business executives use video conferencing as an effective communication tool, which makes the company more efficient in daily operations. Video conferencing can be used for video negotiation, communication between employees, training, and remote recruitment or for a wider range of purposes.
The Indian pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratiories in the Forbes Asia 50 list is one of Polycom's customers.
